Nervous about nose piercing? Please help!?

I realllyyy want to get my nose pierced and my mom said I could and my brother really wants me to cause he thinks it'll look good buuut I'm nervous cause I've heard it either hurts really bad or they didn't feel it at all. I wanna hear what you guys have to say! And is there any way to make it less painful? Regardless of how painful it is, I'm still gunna get it done. I just want to know what to expect so please be honest. Thanks <3
